Politics has a well-known revolving door, with candidates often rehiring consultants, strategists and vendors as they move from one campaign to the next. But for Republican presidential contender Carly Fiorina, that might not be so easy.
Twelve of about 30 people who worked on Fiorina's failed 2010 California Senate campaign, most speaking out for the first time, told Reuters they would not work for her again.
Fiorina, once one of America's most powerful businesswomen, is now campaigning for the Republican nomination in 2016.
The reason: for more than four years, Fiorina who has an estimated net worth of up to $120 million didn't pay them, a review of Federal Election Commission records shows.

That assumes that this article is correct and not just another hit piece.

And if they weren't interns, she should crawl into a hole.
One must wonder what the contractual agreement was before one can slam her for whatever got their panties in a twist.
Another reason why she'll never get any traction in her campaign.
For some reason I don't automatically trust the media. ;)

No wonder she lost. She surrounded herself with RINO moderates, not just Wilson but the rest of the staffers named in the article are all huge squishes. She had a good story to tell but typically the mod consultants push back on any strong conservative message.
(....and BTW the "unidentified staffer" is most certainly the above mentioned 'Marty Wilson' -- a short fat guy with a huge chip on his shoulder who has despised conservatives since the days of Reagan and was instrumental in destroying the California GOP that Reagan built.)
Do your own research.....
I long for a candidate that speaks their mind in CA politics, damn the torpedoes.
Well, that’s one of the ways that the rich get richer.

This the little RINO?
.
Surprise!
Carly is all about Carly.
Whodda thunk it?

Lets see...Al Sharpton owes the Feds 5 or 6 MILLION and nothing is ever said about that.

I’m thinking Fiorina could not of course have survived a conservative campaign, in California, with conservative themes and conservative staffers.
Maybe she ran for the experience, and to be able to stay in sunny California. I am sorry to hear how liberally moderate she has proven to be in the past, based on what she has supported. I actually didn’t know how moderate/liberal she was/is.
But, she needs to stay in this race as long as possible, to deliver the goods to Hillary, as I believe only Fiorina can.
When she ran for senator in California, she ran to the left of the Rinos. I did not vote for her.
That would be rather expected, when running against a Marxist like Boxer. And, in the socialist mecca of California to boot.
A plain, simple RINO would be sure puff piece for Boxer.
I disagree, but I'm weary of having this argument year after year. Look at the election results of the past 20 years, conservative statewide candidates always do better than RINOs who stand for nothing.
Californian here. Carly Fiona is not a good republican candidate. saw her bid in 2010 and was not impressed. it would not surprise me if this story was true. the best explanation I can give for not wanting her as president is that I got the feeling that she never meant what she said but said it because she thought it would get her elected. I also believe that there is info that will come out on her time working for Compaq that wont reflect nicely on her. while there is no way I would ever vote democrat on a presidential level I think that with candidates Like Cruze and Walker we have a lot better presidential candidates.
