The family chose to go on national tv, travel around the country and put themselves on public display as representatives of a Christian moral life and family values. Josh chose to take a job in DC representing a pro-family lobbying group who I doubt knew about his past.
Truth always has a way of bubbling to the top. If this is being used against Christians in general the Duggars have no one to blame but themselves. They should have kept a lower profile.
