The culture is stuck in a time warp because the aging ‘60s generation continues to brand itself as “vibrant” and “relevant.” That’s why every single issue of the ‘60s and ‘70s keeps being regurgitated even though most Americans thought we’d been there, done that, eons ago. The media (upper management of which is a plethora of ‘60s and ‘70s-era “activists”) stubbornly refuses to recognize that Democrats like Hillary and Obama are tired and outmoded and mired in the past, while Republicans like Cruz and Walker represent an energetic future.
