From what military did you retire? Or, if still active, in what military are you now?

And the national Republican Party is one of the key culprits. I guess the late George C. Wallace was right when he said there’s “not a dime’s worth of difference” between the two parties. Our little GOP is too cowardly to fight over any issue of substance. Yields in advance

The last six years have driven this home for me.

I once believed things would never get this far or bad here.

That being said (and I'm guessing you would agree), it ain't over til it's over. We may have a fight or two that can turn this thing, much like the ascendance of Thatcher brought Britain back to relevance, it can happen here at least one more time.

What the bamster & co. have wrought will make it more than difficult, but as for me (and a lot of others), I'm not ready to toss it in.

Considering a plan B is no longer crazy.......

Which is very close to something I’ve been thinking on for years...that America is an idea, and not a piece of real estate - and that idea no longer animates this particular piece of real estate.

Or, another way: Ex pats are the NEW patriots!

"I love the Union and the Constitution, but I would rather leave the Union with the Constitution than remain in the Union without it."

Is it John C. Calhoun?

True, it ain’t over til it’s over...and without a doubt, regardless of where the outcome is headed, there are those called to fight the good fight.

But you’re right, plan B is now mainstream conservative patriot thinking.

A left wing dictatorship in frankly impossible in this country since the military and police wouldn’t support it. But that’s only the case until the government builds an army of robots that will follow any command. Once that happens, we are screwed.

Yep. In fact, they were the concentration camp inmate collaborators. They sold their soul for more rations [food] and more privileges.

We should dissolve the union completely thru state action. Come up with a mutual defense treaty amongst the 50 ex- united states. Perhaps a common currency.. Then agree to convene a reunification convention in 10 years.

Just in the recent election for mayor of San Antonio, leftists candidates dominated the field. Leftists take a few defeats, but they soon resume their fighting assured of victory if not now then next year.

Public education is the root of this malaise.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

For years I have been sounding the alarm bell. Few listen.

Government K-12 schools are our nation's **most** serious threat. Nearly every teacher in this nation ( even in private K-12 schools) were trained by godless Marxists in Marxist-run colleges and universities. These government K-12 schools are controlled from top to bottom by Marxists. These are the people who have already indoctrinated more than one generation of voters.

Fundamentally, we as a nation can not survive if we place our nation's children in godless K-12 schools that are built upon a foundation of single-payer and socialist-entitlement. These schools are price-fixed at tuition free and are a monopoly cartel.

So?....What have several generations of voters learned? Answer:

1) Children in godless schools **will** learn to think and reason godlessly. They must just to cooperate in the godless classroom. And....Those children who still have the benefit of a believing family must learn to compartmentalize their faith into public and private spheres.

2) Children in government schools risk learning that the same voting mob who gives them tuition-free schooling can also give them **lots** of “free” stuff!

4) Since schools ( both private and government ) **must** suppress First Amendment rights, the child in the government school risks becoming comfortable with government functionaries suppressing their human rights.

I believe it can be reformed.

What is needed is a spiritual revival.

I don’t disagree with that, but I do not assume the next great move of God will be to save this nation.

One major place to begin is schooling, both K-12 and college and university.

In many counties and some states in this nation, if the God-fearing and conservatives simply removed their kids from government K-12 schools and university, the entire system would immediate **IMPLODE**.

It is that simple. Ditto for many other Marxist infested institutions.

No.
