I think a good case can be made that when the Amendment to the U. S. Constitution was passed that allowed for Direct Election of U.S. Senators we started moving down the road away from the Republic form of Government.

Both Political Parties favor Big Government and that has been the case all along, much more so the last 80 years.

The Biggest single the the Federal Government has going for it is to keep us in a Perpetual State of Fear, whether that is Communism, Global Warming or Terrorism. It’s the excuse that is used for more Government, More Police State Powers and a Further dilution of of our Rights under the Constitution.

The only viable solution should be obvious to everyone by now.

A government has gotten out of hand when it starts routinely shooting its own citizens. African-Americans are on the front lines of that, and they are the citizens reacting with violence. Few approve of the riots or the rioters but they have a point, and they're not just talking anymore.

The DHS recently prepared a report on "domestic extremists" but completely misidentified the citizens that have nothing left to lose.

* The signing of EO 13603 (which he alludes to but doesn't name); and one he doesn't mention:
* the disgraceful decision by SCOTUS in June 2012, blessing ObamaCare and all its hidden fees and tax penalties, making anyone a criminal subject to arrest (under NDAA's provisions).;

Those three travesties of law have, in the space of six months, set the final pieces in place. As I said then, "We are officially over the precipice, we just haven't struck the ground yet..."

There are two problems here
1: a government that is drifting more and more towards open oligarchy and dictatorship. Its not so hard to see the pattern now of where things are going.

2: We got a social problem that we also beleive is a result of the goverment’s edicts,and leftist lies in the media and State schools.

Problem #1 may eventualy require some clever plan to restore the republic but that is largly for not if we dont solve problem #2. After all a democracy will just vote itself into tyranny again if the population is taught to distoy themselves and others via the politics of racial, ethic, and economic warfare.

Ultimately we have only a minority of the current population still virtuous enough to trust as citizens. We can thou campaigns and reasoning convince a working majority of the rest to join us. But ultimately a great many are already sold themselves into a life of slavery to eveny based class warfare. The left are vigorously attempting thou collage and school education to convince the rest to join them.

Everyone that does join this warpath will never be at peace so long as they follow it. You cannot after all live in peace so long as you make war upon your neighbor no matter what your reason is, and there will always be some new reason or perception they dream up to keep their army marching under them.

First of all, I do think a lot of ex Pats are the new patriots, and I do think a lot of them are still fighting for this country. You may not have heard of cell phones and the internet, but they do make for effective international communications.

Second, I never said I was considering going that route - though I am considering it. Who knows if it will happen. I will say I’ve been on the front lines in this battle (probably a helluva lot more than you ever have been) - but who knows, you’re just another quirky cowardly screen name. And, I will continue the fight from abroad if I do ex patriate.

And third, you and your redneck bumpkin thought that America is a piece of real estate, and not a set of ideals, is very cute and pollyannish. The ideals of America are just about dead on the real estate by that same name....but I doubt you’re smart enough to understand that.
