Despite the characterization by police that the afternoon gathering at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas that led to Sunday’s bloody shooting incident was a gathering of criminal biker gangs with violent intent, the meeting appears to have been a legitimate, organized gathering of motorcycle riders meeting to discuss political issues.
The group that met was the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents (CoC&I) and a look at that group’s website and history gives a very different impression of the group’s purpose and goals than what has been said repeatedly by Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.

No. My town doesn’t have a problem, although other places such as Daytona do. This is kind of a quiet (although heavy drinking) place, so we get just mostly nice people and some not so nice, who may get drunk and have a fist fight or two, but even so are not seeking to control the meth trade in Florida...

This is Obama PAYBACK in Texas for offing two Jihadis.
I don't find that assessment to be exactly right - At least not as portrayed. I always have a jack knife and a pistol on me. I always have a rifle in my truck. Does that mean I am 'ready to rumble'? Nah. That formula is exceedingly common in the West, among more than just bikers.
Reports tend toward an interloper here - the Cossacks - That others would be prepared to defend should not be a surprise among Western folks anywhere... Among bikers anywhere... Especially in the West anywhere... Not to even mention Texas.
I find it hard to believe that with prior knowledge, the Bandidos would have exposed their unaffiliated and uninvolved friends, that they would have allowed it to come down where it did (bad for business), and if desiring the fight, it would be remarkable indeed that they did not show up in full force, with outliers and scouts, and the whole 9 yards... They'd have had the place locked down better than the cops could ever do.
It looks more to me like a legit meeting, with Bandidos more or less caught flat-footed by brazen Cossacks, looking for trouble. That they were ready for defense is just a matter of course.

The red pigment in the Black Widow faded from UV rays to a weird non-color/purple so this year, it was replaced with *Boas* on a skull.

Generally the LEO’s at our events are in the run. Fun to see them ride and party and get along just fine with the (SHUDDER) 1%er’s also in the run.
