Despite the characterization by police that the afternoon gathering at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas that led to Sunday’s bloody shooting incident was a gathering of criminal biker gangs with violent intent, the meeting appears to have been a legitimate, organized gathering of motorcycle riders meeting to discuss political issues.
The group that met was the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents (CoC&I) and a look at that group’s website and history gives a very different impression of the group’s purpose and goals than what has been said repeatedly by Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.

b) never had a useable mind in the first place

I believe Twin Peaks released surveillance video as well that shows at least three bikers holding hand guns, most scattering for cover and one engaged in firing his weapon.
Hard to find a link to that video though so it may not have been released to the public.

Remember the old show “The Shield”? One group was “subsidized” by the police to keep the turf wars in check.
If this is true ... what was the biker shooting at and what was the reason that he had pulled his weapon? Was he shooting at other bikers offensively? ... or was it in self-defense from cops who were shooting at and killing he and his friends. If I was packing that day ... and I do a lot as I am a CCW ... I would probably have drawn my weapon too.
