And they didn't exactly "report" it. They told a trooper. This a situation where you go down to the station and/or prosecutor's office, not tell some individual officer.
It seems there are two different versions. In one they talked to a state trooper, in another Oprah staff called it in.
I defended the Duggars for YEARS to people who thought their way of life was extreme. I thought there was nothing wrong with protecting your kids from the crap in the world.b(Still don't) Old-fashioned courting seemed so appealing in contrast to the hookup culture. The kids' marriages seemed destined to last.
I hope they will last. But now that the fame and glory the spouses married into is over, we'll see if they really believe in their vows.
It is the PARENTS a I am most disappointed in. They don't deserve lynching, but they don't deserve to be on TV marketing themselves as role models.
