The feud between John McCain and Rand Paul worsened on Saturday morning after the presidential candidate successfully held up a temporary extension of controversial provisions of the Patriot Act.

McCain, a leading GOP hawk and Paul, the leader of his party’s libertarian wing, have never exactly seen eye to eye. But the relationship became even more toxic after Paul successfully blocked the Senate from extending NSA surveillance programs for even one additional day.

There is a big sign along the highway in Arizona that says, “John McCain keeps your bases open.” Sorry John, I keep my own bases open.

When there is a fight between McC and anybody, be sure to pick “anybody”.

Those two are blowing smoke. Smoke and mirrors. The government will never shut down their snooping on us citizens.

Arizona Republicans are basically begging the Democrats to nominate a candidate who is not a frothing Moonbat, so they can turn away from McCain. McCain has used his influence and endless money to basically buy himself the primary, replacing all precinct chairmen with his personal toadies and lickspittles.

And any Republican who dares to run against him McCain is clear he will ruin, not just politically, but financially, and personally. McCain will destroy them and their family just out of course.

So the only two ways Arizona can be free of this beast is either for the Democrats to put up a candidate who is not utterly worthless, or for the grim reaper to enter the race and end John McCain once and for all.

Don’t even think that McCain is an Arizonan. He originally hailed from Virginia, and even they disavow him. His beer heiress wife, with very deep pockets, is an Arizonan, but she much prefers living in the cocktail circuit of the Beltway.

Will no one rid us of this monster?

So there's no sense in complaining about it or trying to stop it, eh? How silly of Rand Paul to even try!

“There’s a new breed in the Senate,” McCain mourned. “Some time ago senators would gather round in a big circle jerk while selling out the country

What he really meant

If McStain is upset that’s a good thing.

Excellent post!

You put into words exactly what I was thinking and undoubtedly expressed it much better than I could have done.

McStain is both a vicious infighter and outfighter who knows all the dirty tricks of his trade. He perpetually hides behind his dubious war record and behind his carefully-cultivated veneer and aura of being the white knight and advocate for any-and-every military-connected voter in Arizona (and there are hundreds of thousands throughout the state).

I know....I have Republican, U.S.Air Force-connected/WW2-connected family in Tucson...they and countless others like them swear by McCain.....and no amount of information or logic exposing this cleverly-devious and corrupt politician can dissuade them.

Juan McStain.. The un-documented Democrat.

I would still like to know how the little ball of hate became the GOP nominee for President.

The reason McCain became our nominee for president is that there were too many conservative republicans running and McCain was the least offensive to cross over voters and the MSM. Same thing with Romney. I just hope this time there's more middle of the roaders to cancel each other out. Jeb and Christie are a couple of them.
