The Russian news agency Tass, quoting the country’s defense ministry, reported Monday that the exercise involves as many as 250 combat planes and helicopters and 689 units of “various weapons and military equipment.”

A June article by Max Seddon of BuzzFeed reported the Kremlin was spending millions of dollars to pay English-speaking Russians to promote President Vladimir Putin and his policies in U.S. media like Fox News broadcasting and The Huffington Post and Politico news sites. Trolls are reportedly expected to manage multiple fake accounts and post on news articles 50 times a day, often with sentiments as simplistic as Putin makes Obama look stupid and weak!

Public news over the past ten years or so shows that assets around the Pacific Rim have China very well covered. If she moves, all of her military facilities and infrastructure will be gone within days. Looks like her friend to the north was an unwise choice in more ways than being simply untrustworthy.
