The proposal sounds reasonable. It protects those who depend on subsidies until 2017, which is plenty of time for the private sector to come up with alternatives. It demands an end to mandates, which would mean people could choose their plan....or not.
The problem would be getting the 'pubs to stand firm against Obama.

I don’t see this getting that far.
It’s a repeat of what happened with immigration; the Senate comes up with a “plan”, the House rejects it ... but because there’s a big SCOTUS decision saying “no, you can’t do that” there’s no opportunity for Obama to step in with an EO.
Actually, I see the Senate Dems filibustering this thing. Which means THEY can be tarred as the obstructionists.

There is NOTHING REASONABLE ABOUT OBAMACARE !
It needs to be RIPPED OUT BY ITS ROOTS.
AND it needs to be DEFEATED TODAY.
Democrats just want the current FARCE to last until AFTER the 2016 election is over.
And those STUPID IDOTS, The "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS", ARE GOING ALONG WITH THIS CRAP ?
DAMN THEM TO HELL ! ! !
