I’m talking about the current “divide” in which police are becoming wary of policing in certain neighborhoods, with justification.
Our President singlehandedly created that divide with his attitude, commentary, and placing people like Eric Holder in positions of power.
Yes, police have always had to be wary, but our President has created a need for a much higher level of caution on the part of the police when policing the inner cities. He’s also raised the barrier between races significantly, as I believe your comment illustrated.
You are correct and while I am not a cop, I highly recommend they go where they are wanted and look the other way while in unwelcoming neighborhoods and only stop in the more dire emergencies. After all, if you can get charged with depraved heart murder for driving a police van, anything can happen, none of it good.
