Thanks to Obama ISIS Islamists now control half of Syria and one-third of Iraq.
ISIS Terrorists now control territory larger than the land mass of Great Britain.
How pathetic is this? The Obama White House once again tried to blame George W. Bush for the creation of ISIS an Islamist group that was formed when US troops left Iraq in 2011.
Transcript via The White House Dossier from a press conference last week:
Q Jeb Bush said yesterday that ISIS didnt exist when my brother was President. He has a point, doesnt he?
MR. EARNEST: No, I dont think that he does. Weve sort of been through the history here.
Q ISIS didnt exist when his brother was President.
MR. EARNEST: Well, again, I think thats missing the point, actually. But Ill allow others to critique his position.
Q I mean, what about that, though? I mean, ISIS the larger point there is that because the President decided to complete a full withdrawal from Iraq and of course we can go back and debate the circumstances around that, but you didnt have the status forces agreement with the Iraqis that you wanted to have and so forth that that vacuum allowed ISIS to develop into the threat to this country and to that region that they are today. Isnt there something to that?
MR. EARNEST: No, theres not. Because, again, the outgrowth of we know that ISIL was an outgrowth of al Qaeda in Iraq that did not exist prior to the fateful decision made by the previous administration to launch an invasion of that country. And that is also a relevant fact.

NOTHING is ever that Kenyan bass turd’s fault. EVERYTHING is ALWAYS someone else’s fault. Community agitators are bottom feeding scumbags.
Hmmmm. Maybe isis/isil/is is responsible for Bush. Ya just never know.
Nice weasel words, Josh. ISIS also did not exist prior to the fateful decision made by the Clinton administration to bomb Serbia. So it is Clinton's fault.
ISIS also did not exist prior to the incompetent attempt to free the Teheran hostages by the Carter administration. So it is Carter's fault.
Josh, you ignorant slut....
Democrats only have themselves to blame for 90% of the evils in this country and they are NEVER going to accept that they're to blame and they're NEVER going to admit to failure of their policies, so blame someone else no matter how absurd the claim. The butt licking liberal media will never challenge them on it.
Bush’s Fault - the default excuse of the Left since 2000.
ISIS was formed in Syria. That’s what the second “S” stands for. Bush didn’t invade or occupy Syria. Hussein drew a red line, did nothing, then watched as Syria spiraled into chaos which spawned the JV who went on to invade Iraq.
Worst. President. Ever.
If quota boy were to get crabs from his private toilet tomorrow, he’d blame Bush.
Would never happen. Even crabs have standards.
Its too bad the citizens of Ramadi, Mosul, etc., etc. didn’t have a 2nd amendment to protect themselves and their family members along with a militia, police, veterans of previous wars, state troopers, county sheriffs, national guard, cia, fbi, nsa, atf, army, navy, air force, special forces, etc., etc., etc. to back them up along with a rule of law built around the protection of individual life, liberty.
Uh .what was our mission? What is our mission going forward?

” the fateful decision made by the previous administration”
How inordinately Dramatic of him.
how many years ago was that..again????
ISIS was a creation and franchise of the Muslim Brotherhood, which used the “Arab Spring”, a failed attempt to impose democracy upon the Arabic Islamic nations of the Middle East, as its springboard to expansion and now wave of conquest.
Democratic reform is totally incompatible with Shari’ah law, which was almost immediately imposed by the Muslim Brotherhood once they gained power through “democratic” means. In the chaos which ensued, the “Islamic State” arose as the most unified and militant of those who resisted the acceptance of the “new majority”. Syria, which was already in turmoil and in the throes of its own revolutionary war, was a perfect place to test out the newly created entity, and hone its war skills.
This new entity has been extraordinarily successful, first by the sheer boldness and ruthlessness of their approach, and the lack of any means to adequately counter its growth and aggression.
True, they were fighting against Syria’s strongman ruler, Bashar al-Assad, who has become a pariah in the world, and almost universally regarded as a “bad guy”, but in comparison to what would come should ISIS somehow displace him, al-Assad seems almost benign. But at the same time ISIS is fighting the Syrian national army, they are ALSO fighting OTHER forces ostensibly arrayed against al-Assad.
Can’t tell the players apart without a score card. And even then the picture is still pretty murky.
Apparently, the Current Regime now squatting in the White Hut in the capital of the territory once known as “the United States of America” has chosen to side with ISIS in practically every engagement ISIS has joined into, first by making the way much easier, then by withholding countermeasures to ISIS from those who really are in a battle to dislodge them.
I don't think this is one of them.
ISIS would not last 2 weeks against a modern army.
And there's no reason that army could not be Turkish, Saudi, Jordanian etc.
And there's less reason for it to be US.
This is an Arab problem and Arabs need to solve it.
LOL!
Support for the Iraq War Resolution was fairly bi-partisan actually, with a majority (58%) of Democratic Senators voting in favor, and a substantial number (39%) of Democratic Representatives also voting in favor. But whether a person agrees with the Bush decision to go to war in Iraq, it should be obvious to anyone that we should have maintained some kind of security presence in Iraq; at the very least, a modest-sized fast reaction elite force that could have quickly extinguished a threat like ISIS in its early stages, as soon as it attempted to cross over into Iraq.
Now the Obama White House would like to blame Bush for ISIS. The President should be working for us (the citizens/taxpayers). We don’t pay him to place blame, we pay him to solve problems. ISIS is problem, so the President needs to do his job and solve it.
Why not? He’s gotten away with blaming Bush for everything else.
