As you know Pubbie, I'm a solid Cruz supporter and have been ever since Sarah Palin endorsed him in May 2012. However, he really screwed up with that 'Aye' vote and then affixing his name to that weak Op Ed with Ryan trying to justify it.

There is no justification, period, for enabling the Obama Regime on anything.

What I don’t get is why would you want to take away Congress’ ability to debate such agreements (with a simple up or down vote...not hearing, or knowing, where each Rep stands on said proposal)? Also, why sign on to something that no one (except its authors ~ one of which I’ve read is a Soros group) has seen, or been allowed to read and/or release? This just isn’t making sense, to me.

Maybe my questions have been answered in previous posts/threads...and I’ve overlooked something? I’ve read the Op-Ed Cruz co-wrote with Lyin’ Paul Ryan and the statement Sen Cruz posted on his Senate site. Still not getting it.

This doesn't enable Obama to do anything he couldn't do before. Please stop repeating lies.

This bill in Congress is no way “ enabling “ the president or his administration in any way, shape, or form.

On the contray, it put’s more restrictions on what the president can do with trade agreements with foreign countries.

It gives the time for the public and Congress to review what are in trade agreements.

It gives Congress the final say.

Many people are confused on this legislation, it is NOT a or the actual trade agreement, it’s legislation on the “ Authority “ or who has the authority on trade agreements in Congress.
