We have never been at war with "terror"; the war is always with Islam. Those doing the fighting have been labeled "militant" Islam. Those on the sidelines, the sit, wait & watch crowd have been labeled "moderates".
The left gained a lot of power with the "Peace Movement" so they tend to soft pedal any militant tendencies. Their opposition to God, Christianity and Israel dovetails nicely with the goals of Islam, hence their considering Islam to be 'simpatico'. Islam can do the "wet work" for the left.
The illogic of the far left feminist movement being aligned with Islam, let alone Sharia-espousing versions of it, is mind boggling!
