They do, but they need to grow nuts and do something. Sitting around with Bonehead and his ilk there is nothing getting done. The Goose Stepper in Chief does what he wants. just like in the Senate, we got a sad sack half ass doing his dirty work. McChuckles needs removed and replaced by a real conservative Republican. If not we are screwed!!!!

The Environmental Protection Agency, along with the Army Corps of Engineers, says it has the authority to control all waterways within the United States — and will exercise that authority.

This has been going on long before Obama ever took office.

This dates to 1972. This is just the logical further implementation. The actual language of these latest rules is just vague enough to allow a court to further erode private property rights, and that’s not by accident.

not at present

it presently takes 60 votes to pass anything in the senate

Then, Obama can veto it

bottom line, the congress can not actually cut off EPA funds

Maybe all the people who lost homes in the Texas flooding should sue the EPA under the takings clause of the Constitution to get just compensation for their property which the EPA stole.

A symptom of the disease. The disease is statism. The symptom is federal encroachment on private and state property.

We better fix this, folks, if we want our liberty.

H/T to our FRiend bestintxas for the post.

THIS IS NOT A SURPRISE - we saw this coming.

Obola TOLD us he would do this on March 16, 2012, with the signing of Executive Order 13603.

That order allows the regime to confiscate ANYTHING or ANYONE they deem "necessary for national security"...

Be Prepared. They are....

And if you die, you better not decompose.

PS I really like the logic that “If an amoeba can swim across it, it is navigable waters.”

We here in California finally outsmarted the Feds for once: We got ourselves a drought.

No water. Nothing for the Feds to control.

Ha Ha.

Parmy:" This constitutes a breathtaking power and land grab.
Transformation in progress."

Incremental power grab by the Fed.
The rules , permits , and fines come later !
The undefineable Science is already in, the Fed. justification is in place, and I don't remember the EPA asking for citizen input.
Given the EPA previous record of favoring fish over humanity, ignoring the mineral wealth and energy needs of the nation, chances are that this won't end well, ..
and it is just a matter of time before the other shoe will fall.

The problem with our side is that we accept their assertion of good intentions,
and that these are “unintended” consequences.

If just one of these presidential contenders would run on closing down the EPA they would be a shoe in.

Fortunately, we’ve got lots of sand here in Aiken County, SC.

It has to rain really hard for a long time around here to get natural puddles. Then, once it stops raining, the puddles disappear in a short time.

I’ve got one low spot in my driveway that develops a puddle after a real gully washer. It’s usually gone in half an hour.
