An Elkhart County jury convicted 40-year-old Jose Jesus Macias in April on all 11 felony counts of child sexual abuse the Goshen man had faced.
The Elkhart Truth reports that a judge sentenced Macias on Thursday to 200 years and six months in prison.
Now, if 40-year-old Jose was the speaker of the house of representatives, he would probably get no more than a slap on the wrist, if he was a coach and former speaker of the house he might get a year.
But poor stupid 40-year-old Jose is going to be making big rocks into little rocks for the next 200 and a half years. Not for molesting little boys, but for impersonating a member of Congress.

Should have been a US congressman like Gerry Studds.
Studds was re-elected to the House six more times after the 1983 censure.
Studds defended his sexual involvement as a “consensual relationship with a young adult.” Dean Hara, whom Studds married in 2004, said after Studds’ death in 2006 that Studds had never been ashamed of the relationship. “This young man knew what he was doing,” Hara said.[6] In testimony to investigators, the page described the relationship as consensual and not intimidating.[7]

Has some Speaker of the House been charged or convicted of molestation?
Or has there just been sketchy accusations from anonymous sources within this administration?
In my view, the sentences ought to be served consecutively.
Also, as pleased as I am with this sentence, I do wonder why Sandusky got 30-60 while this guy got 200.
