I talked to a gentleman who does the tax law advising for a very large denomination hhere in the U.S. about just such an issue a few weeks ago..and he says there wont be any way they can jack around with the taxes.
Thats all I know about the matter.

I believe this will happen too, and ministers will probably not be doing any weddings - those who won’t accept the premise of gay marriage. People can just go in front of a judge and get hitched. These activists will flood the churches and press lawsuits - just wait and see - they will be further emboldened.
My exact thought. They don’t realize that God will in fact take the issue up with them, either when He returns as King of Kings or when they meet Him at the throne of judgment. I think that pastors and teachers who feed their sheep cookies and candy without any meat or veggies has been the loss of the fear of God. The ‘No Fear’ ad is quite apropos.

I do not see this carrying the day, longer term. No government can change a church’s teachings. The First Amendment prevents that.
