I was always curious about this: Did the screen name "Kenny Bunk" drive from his geographical location, or was there something more subtle about it?
Justice, Kenny Bunk was proud to identify as a Mainer in part I think because as a yachtsman he felt attached to her rugged coasts and waters, and in part because he delighted in the soft disposition and hard sense of irony/humor of native Mainers. As a New Englander and “rebel Yankee,” (if ever there was one he was it,) Maine was a perfect home.
