The Blue Diamond was nice, but you should try the JW Marriot next time you’re in Pune. It was a beautiful hotel with fantastic service and food. I’ve been to Pune and Chennai twice in the last year and a half. Chennai is bad enough for me, Pune I could survive in with enough money. I’ve only passed through Mumbai and Delhi but can imagine either are any better than Chennai other than their infrastructure. Southern India is most definitely not as developed or modern as northern India.
