RE: I think Hastert is not the only homosexual that has been in house leadership. What pedophilia rings exist that service these men?
I notice that many Homosexuals will strongly object to being equated with Pedophiles.
And lets face it closet homosexuals of any kind are subject to being coerced because of their dirty little secrets. The best way to control the Republican party is to have closet homosexuals in leadership. And suppress as being homophobic any report of sexual corruption. Ever wonder why leaders in the Republican party once elected under a conservative platform suddenly turn against it?
No, they should be made to give that money to pay off the national debt that they incur with their idiot policies.
Could it be that he was put into this position by people who knew of his "proclivities" and knew he would do what he was told for fear of being exposed?
If it's true that someone has the power to put a pedophile into the Speaker's chair, then our entire government is a corrupt criminal enterprise.
Wake up and face this fact! We have a One-Party system that is controlled by elites. They hate freedom and lust for totalitarian control. If you think the GOP is going to save America, you are under mind control.
Winning an election = winning a lottery to most of them. This is just more proof.
Calling someone a homo is as bad as it gets....lets wait and see....OK?
“How Did Denny Hastert Get Rich Enough to Pay Millions to an Accuser?”
These political hacks have been picking our pockets for years.
[No, they should be made to give that money to pay off the national debt that they incur with their idiot policies.]
AGREED.

I HAVE said over and over, the law that is bringing down Hastert is probably illegal and the crap about Tom Delay by Austin DA more CRAP but those two did more to ruin the Republican brand than anybody in the past 20 years. Glad there was some way they had to pay a price.
RE: I HAVE said over and over, the law that is bringing down Hastert is probably illegal
Hastert helped to pass that law when he was speaker of the house. He is now hoisted on his own petard.
From Hastert’s Wikipedia entry:
In May 2008, six months after resigning from Congress, the Washington, D.C.-based law firm and lobbying firm Dickstein Shapiro announced that Hastert was joining the firm as a senior adviser. Hastert waited until the legally required “cooling-off period” had passed in order to actually become a registered lobbyist. Over the next several years, Hastert earned millions of dollars lobbying his former congressional colleagues.
According to Foreign Agents Registration Act filings, Hastert represented foreign governments, including the government of Luxembourg and government of Turkey. During parts of 2009, Hastert also lobbied on behalf of Oak Brook, Illinois-based real estate firm CenterPoint Properties; Naperville, Illinois-based lighting technology company PolyBrite International; and San Diego, California-based for-profit education company Bridgepoint Education. Among Hastert’s clients were Lorillard Tobacco Co., which paid Dickstein Shapiro almost $8 million from 2011-14 to lobby on behalf of candy-flavored tobacco and electronic cigarettes; Hastert “was the most prominent member of the lobbying team” on these efforts.] In 2013 and 2014, Hastert lobbied on climate change issues on behalf of Peabody Energy, the world’s largest private-sector coal company; in 2015, Hastert “switched sides” and lobbied for Fuels America, the ethanol industry group. Hastert also lobbied on behalf of REX American Resources Corp.; The ServiceMaster Co.; Peabody Energy; and the Secure ID Coalition; In addition to his lobbyist job, Hastert established his own consultancy, Hastert & Associates.
In 2008, Hastert also joined the board of directors of Chicago-based futures exchange company CME Group Inc. (which had been formed from the merger of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade). On May 29, 2015, following his indictment, Hastert resigned from the board, effective immediately.
Some politicians do good. Some others do very well.
What can be found out in the press is that it was someone on the wrestling team.
I guess I haven’t read that part.
