Let’s have pity party for the MSM.

I’m sure Schieffer has no issue with George Clintopolous as an “unbiased” anchor at ABC.

Schieffer saying that the news business isn’t what it was anymore

**************
Translation: The big media liberal propaganda machine doesn’t have the dominant free reign it used to have. They lost their monopoly thanks to the internet.

I heard that newspaper circulation is down about 30% from what it was 15 years ago. I wonder if ratings for the MSM news programs are down as well??

Is this liberal lamenting the end of an era, an era in which the MSM was able to steer the news agenda???

When Fox News first started up, Hillary Clinton said, “This will make it harder to get our message out”. Wish I had a link for it, but it’s the same sort of thinking.

Nina Totenberg complained in her column when a republican (yes one of those) got on the board of NPR. “That’s the end of NPR’s objectivity”, she said.

Good ol’ Bob...he was the Danny Partridge to fellow Texan Dan Rather’s Keith.

Let’s leave him alone now...he’s looking forward to playing some golf with President Johnson.

Ross Perot happened and the MSM collusion in promoting him to help Clinton was the beginning.

Schieffer is 78 years old.

At CBS, that amounts to early retirement.

The old leftist media is upset becuase they don’t have the “influence” they once had, nothing about reporting the news, uncovering scandal, helping people understand the issues.....it’s that they are no longer important enough to shape opinion, which NEVER should have been their job.

Most of the information is wrong and some of it is wrong on purpose,’ Schieffer said.

Bob, were you perhaps thinking of a large number of your colleagues in the MSM when you made that comment?

Probably not. As far as you’re concerned, you’re all as clean as a newly laundered white sheet. Instead, you’re aiming at the bloggers and talk radio.

What you fail to understand is that many of these bloggers as well as radio hosts like Limbaugh, Hewitt, etc make no bones about having an agenda. They’re very clear in saying that they are speaking from a right point of view.

Your ilk still cling to the belief that your report is fair and honest.

Bob Schieffer is a smelly old crud, and his retirement was long overdue. Bob Schieffer is arguably the most moronic talking head on national television in the last 20 years.

I'm sorry that the news of the big 3 is not what is was. I'm so sorry that I didn't know you were retiring. I only heard about it on the net...

Until I see some idea of balance in reporting, I'll go online or listen to talk radio.

When Bill B J Clinton was under fire for rape, molestation, sexual harassment, sticking his peener into Paula’s face, sexual abuse of an intern, etc., I remember hearing Bob Schiefer saying of these charges/accusations “Allegedly, supposedly, reportedly” did all of these things.... Turned out ... HE DID!
I knew right then that he was a liberal FIRST and a reporter SECOND or worse...
