Mitt brings: no state that he can help carry. No Senate experience (the VP’s top real job is president of the Senate). No defense experience. Dubious conservative credentials. Very high negatives, thanks to the 47 comment and such. A proven loser track record.

Dukakis picking Mondale would have made much more sense.
