On May 29, three black males walked up to three white males moving into an apartment and allegedly demanded money at gunpoint. One of the three residents pulled a gun and opened fire, killing one on the alleged robbers, critically wounding a second, and injuring the third.
The incident occurred around 11 pm in Aurora, Colorado.
According to CBS Denver, “three white males in their 20s were moving into an apartment building when they were approached by three black males between the ages of 16-20 in the foyer of the apartment building.” The three black males allegedly “demanded money at gunpoint.”
Aurora Police Chief Nick Metz says that two of the three would-be victims began handing money over to the suspects when the third pulled his own gun and began shooting.
The citizen who defended himself and his two companions was questioned by police then released. Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler commented: “I don’t think we would call this necessarily a make-my-day issue. This is a straight up regular common sense statutorily codified self defense.”

Us self-defense advocates should always ask the bleeding-heart liberals if they were attacked would they prefer to have a gun to fight back or get kidnapped, raped, mutilated, or killed and buried in a shallow grave?
Or ask them if all guns were to disappear tomorrow, what would the gangsters do? Answer: buy them from the import black market. Mexico is right next door and they supply many weapons to the inner cities.

Thugs have tried to mug me 4 times now. The last one (a few weeks ago) ended with me having a permanent scar on my right hand. That bastard won’t ever have full use of his right arm (elbow) again, though.

The ‘shooter’ needs to find some new friends after this little incident.
My wife and I are in our sixties, and I can’t take a punch like I used to. So we have a simple rule that applies to all the little Trayvons, Micheal Browns or any other thug of any ethnicity out there: assault me of my wife and we will kill you. Without hesitation, mercy or remorse. When you started the fight, you left your “civil rights” in your other pants. We have no obligation to submit to what at our age could be a fatal beating. So our choice is a simple one: we live, you die.
And yes, we never go anywhere unarmed, and our training is such that we are always alert. As our Si Gong taught us, trouble can come from anywhere at any time. Common sense says that you do all that you can to avoid trouble. But when trouble comes looking for you, and you cannot simply walk away, then the rules of engagement have changed: there aren’t any.
One dead, two wounded (one critically), is a pretty damn good count.
One against three? Dirty Harry would be proud.
By the way, there is a big difference in firing at a stationary range target than a live confrontation with a hostile. Kudos to the shooter!

It’s not like the movies.
After the first shot the other two probably scattered like cockroaches when the lights come on. A moving target IS harder to hit. Plus he may have lost time by not using point shooting techniques.
