Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) leads a new CNN/ORC poll of the Republican presidential horserace as second-place finisher former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) continues to fall from a large lead earlier this year.
Rubio snagged 14 percent of Republican voters, enough for a slim 1-point lead over Bush, a fellow Floridian. Former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.) and Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) follow with 10 percent, ahead of Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who each grabbed 8 percent.

Looks like Huck’s strategy to take away support from Cruz is working, sigh.
Finally, some good news - and Ms. Pant Suit’s shine is coming off another article stated (no surprise there). Still waiting for, “Ted Cruz leads all Republican candidates!”
Despair not, this was expected...
Where is Huck’s support coming from? Just name recognition?
How does Rubio rate so high? Has he really fought any battles at all? Said anything significant? I’m not a Paul fan, but he’s out there fighting. Cruz and Walker are certainly duking it out for us.
Presidential polls, especially at this point in an election cycle, don’t report on reality. They are designed to create a predetermined reality.
The results give a false impression because they polled the wrong people
Rubio rates very high because he takes the GOPe’s second choice after the Jebster.
Bush’s support has dropped by 50% in multiple polls over the past 3-6 months. His massive loss of support is real.
It’s all riding on the debates, Cruz just has to be in the top 10.
I think it will probably come down to a contest between Rubio, Walker and possibly Fiorina, who doesn’t show much on the polls yet but is moving up fast.
I never thought Bush had much of a chance anyway, regardless of his thoughts on immigration, and I don’t know what it is about Cruz, but people don’t seem to be getting behind him very much.
Not sure about Fiorina, but agree with you on Rubio and Walker. I will vote for Cruz in the primary. But Bush is still dangerous with all the backing he has from the GOPe and cheap labor lobby as well as democrats that will try to prop him up.
you are so right- my take:
1.swamp the GOP field with evryone!- to dilute the
percentages all around-and bush hopes he will come out on top
(look for more loooosers to enter the race!)
2. on the DEMONrat side keep everyone OUT of the race!
except hitlery- (even the vp biden isn’t running)
put in some actual wackos, (this may not work-look at Bernie sanders!)
Not a shock as Rubio has given the best speeches till date.
I still believe the GOPe has engineered a deadlock and will hand it to Jeb at the convention.
Too early for number crunching but if this trend keeps going against Bush Im all for it! What’s amazing is the huckster doing so well. Not good news for Cruz or Walker.
July and August will give us more solid number to work with.
Regardless of who you are for Bush must be dumped first.
Cruz is being hurt by Carson and Huckster both.
Anyone supporting Carson or The Huckster needs to get their heads examined.
after eight years of hearing hoiw Jeb was the smart one/the one who should have been President...a few interviews later, its apparent that W was the smarter one after all....
