Review my post... you’ll notice it was nothing more than a friendly jab... I’m done for the night. G’night...
I come bearing good news. I think if your employees keep up the arrogance, keep denying access to the land then very soon well be able to dramatically cut your employees back and start turning those powers over to the states.
I like Louie. he’s all right but the problem is he can’t
do it alone and he will get about as far as they got with
“the first thing I’m going to do when I’m elected is to
get rid of Obamacare”. Instead they will probably fund it
even more just like they did with Obamacare.
As long as there is a Boehner and McConnell in charge and
a Bush within a thousand miles of the continental USA there
is no viable republican party.
Well, let’s see if his authority can match his rhetoric.
What the hell does " very soon mean? Just do it and quit talking about it, after what happened in Nevada, it is amazing that the BLM hasn't been decimated already.
Sounds like more bull shit out of congress, nothing happens they are all a bunch of lying scum looking to fatten their own wallets.
Ranchers want grazing rights, take them. When we in Maine come across a wolf or coyote, we don't cry to Washington about wolves, we kill it and leave it for the buzzards.
He has authority of one vote on the floor of the House and he might have some authority as a member of a committee that he can use to modify the Federal Land and Policy Management Act of 1976, which has been amended in the past and has been modified by court decisions.
The Sagebrush Rebellion began with the passage of FLPMA. One of the first battles was over the Pine Creek Ranch that Wayne Hage bought in 1978 and the last battle was Warlord Bundy's militia stand-off a year ago. Both men owned a relatively small amounts of land but had grazing rights on very large areas of federal lands
Utah's Transfer Of Public Lands Act went into effect on Jan 1, 2015, but the feds haven't turned over any land to Utah yet.
Of interesting note was yesterday's news story of Obama opening an additional 100,000 acres of BLM land to coal mining.
Would that be "Won't get fooled again..."
or "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss..."
Good one there!
Yep, that was the original target reference, although the other line you quoted is equally relevant...
“My hero...’
My congressman
Excellent !
Why should they?
My sediments, exactly. These are lands held in trust for either the tribes or citizens.
But, there is this big movement in the GOP, in all the western states, all organized by ALEC, American Lands Council, and other groups, all funded by dark money, that wants these federal land turned over to these states.
The question for the Utah GOP is how much taxpayer money are they going to spend to try to transfer these lands.
Bout dang time. You go Louie.
Talk is cheap.
Well I do try but the keys here are so soft, which is good for typing but sometimes they just don’t push on through.
I thought you were just pointing out to be more careful...FR does have certain “hall monitors” who like to point things out from time to time.
When I’m on a roll, as you likely know also, I barrel through especially when posting as an event is happening live on our threads....all grammar and such go right out the window! Ha!
I was thinking of his solo effort “Eminence Front”.
