I hope Mark Steyn doesn’t talk about it . . . much. (I know he will mention it at least.)
I’m not sure I can last 5 days without every excruciating detail about his Apple Watch reminding him to stand up but I’ll try to manage somehow.
LOL. I can take the Apple Watch talk (which usually doesn't consume the entire 3-hour show), but the endless NFL / DeflateGate crap, and recently, the endless analysis of the Baltimore/Ferguson race situation, and the TransJenner crap has been making me hope that El Rushbo would take a week off. Guess I got my wish.
I just hope he doesn't pick back up with it when he returns...
Yeah, why do I also get the feeling Mark Steyn will at least mention Bruce "Caitlyn" TransJenner a few times? Ugh...
Clint N. Suhks gets credit for the "TransJenner" term, by the way... ;-)
I don't know specifically what days the subs will be on. The way Rush read the list, it sounded like: Monday & Tuesday: Steyn, Wednesday: Erickson, Thursday: Sexton, Friday: Hedgecock.
Ever since Rudy left office, whenever my husband and I drive to/from NYC, we almost always end up with some kind of traffic ticket. The city is so desperate for revenue, the NYPD are directed from those 'on high' (Bloomberg, Comrade DeBlasio) to set up traffic sting operations. For example, on a street where you could previously make a left turn, suddenly it is "illegal" to make a left turn, etc.
We've paid more damn $$ to the City of New York for phoney traffic violations.. it's maddening.
The last few times we went to NYC, we reluctantly settled on using Metro North (train).
Hi all...Friday is finally here...
That is why you home school...
If that was my child, the doctor would get HIS CHOPPED OFF!!!
I like it.
Hey all! Next week, I willbe listening to Spotify instead of the Rush subs. But, I may still pop in, because I know how much I am loved.
The WNBA is popular - at least in Connecticut. Go Sun!!!
Some of Rush's subs on tap for next week are pretty good. I'm looking forward to listening to Buck Sexton in particular...
Hedgecock has been MIA for a while.
Perhaps the negative feedback about Mark ‘Mouthful Of Hot Soup’ Davis has paid off and he is out of the rota.
Nothing wrong with MetroNorth...I loved using it when I had to go to NY for business. Cheaper than Amtrak and the NewHaven livery locos are nice...
Big difference between iheart and Spotify is:
1. Iheart has real radio stations, Spotify has none.
2. If you put a song in iheart, you may get to hear it, but you will hear songs iheart thinks are like it, so you can expand you music tastes. Spotify plays the exact song you want and allows you to explore by having play similar songs.
3. Spotify lets you create play lists of your favorite songs, favorite bands, and create a playlist for a party and you can control every song. Ihearot letsyou set Iit and forget it.
4. Iheart has few commercials except when first starting a station. Spotify has commercials frequently, unless you subscribe for $10 per month.
5. Iheart requires an Internet connection to listen. If you pay Spotify’s fee, you can save songs and play them without internet, like an mp3...so, you can get your play list, then go out on the boat and listen to your favorite songs miles out to sea, or in the middle of no where in the midwest.
Plus, their gay train engineers don’t take corners at double the allowable speed while texting.
Yep...but I love the McGuiness style locomotive. Beautiful locos, and I am a railfan.
I will listening to Through the bible with the late Vernon J Mcgee that I have downloaded but I too will be active in the thread.
