I worked at the Pentagon. It’s hard tomtrust anything coming out of an officer’s mouth. The exception is if they are gungho lifers in the military. Those guys you can believe.
The worst liars were the officers in the medical side. Their focus is how they can help unfortunate countries, using our military units to provide healthcare. It made me sick that they were more concerned with helping civilians rather than our injured troops.
I just don’t understand why NO ONE in the psychiatric community hasn’t come out and reaffirmed transgenderism is a paraphiic disorder listed in the DSM?

One of my first posts on FreeRepublic was about the Baltimore doctor who convinced a boy’s parents that he was supposed to be a girl, and started transforming the kid into a girl.
He started with behavioral feminization, then began medical alterations and finally convinced his parents to force him to get a sex change.
The kid eventually got enough hold on reality that he got the operation to change back to a guy, but his life was destroyed. He eventually killed himself. Too bad he didn’t think it through and kill the psycho doc first.
The doctor was at Johns Hopkins. Turns out, he wasn’t really trying to help the boy. He was testing to prove whether gender roles were biological or environmental, and the sex change was an attempt to cover up what he was really doing.
I still get mad and wish I had five minutes alone with that doc and a baseball bat. He wouldn’t destroy another kid.

If memory serves, they were the first hospital in the US to perform such a procedure, eventually becoming a global leading facility for them. They realized the errors of their ways some time ago and have since abandoned performing such procedures, recognizing that it is a mental disorder....
