The hypocrisy in this case ... yeah

But in general I think criminal cases should be tried with as little media fanfare as possible. It’s not fair to the accused to have cases tried in the media before or during the trial and lends itself to the lawyers involved becoming celebrities in the process.

Most of the abuses I’ve seen in high profile cases didn’t come from the media reporting them, but from the media trying them. The Sam Sheppard case is the classic example.
