He may be delusional and a narcissist, as all evidence points that way. He is a traitor, but not by his own design, for he is not intellectually capable of being an “evil genius”. He has been created and molded into the perfect puppet for the real evil culprits in the shadows who pull his strings.
I agree that, taken off the strings and seen as an isolated individual, the man is insane.
