“...I am pro-life, but...”
-
The baby didn’t rape her!
My husband and I has this discussion, and we agreed that if I or either of our daughters were ever raped, I would not have an abortion.
We would encourage our daughters not to have one, and get all needed counseling and emotional support.
We would, if we felt it necessary, put the innocent babies up for adoption.
God creates life, and we are not called to murder innocents.
The woman in this position has four MONTHS to consider her options. If you are unable or unwilling to plan the pregnancy you are required to plan the termination.
Carry “it” to term, THEN dispose of “it” at the nearest hospital, police station, fire station, or other safe sanctuary already in place; no questions asked.
Ref “I am pro-life but I find this Illogical.
I don’t see how anyone could possibly want to force any woman that has been subjected to rape or a incestuous relationship/rape to have that baby. “
The biggest problem for the rape & incest exception to pro-life laws is it allows an abusive rapist (be it a pimp or sexually abusing family member)to cover up and continue their crimes by forcing the woman to have an abortion. If you look at the undercover work of Lila Rose, she clearly demonstrates how abortion clinics repeatedly ignore the warning flags of such cases. For example, Lila or one of her operatives frequently posed as a young teen (13-15) with a thirty year old boyfriend. None of the clinic staff batted an eye or suggested any authorities should be contacted when it was made clear the 30 year old was the father. The abortion industry is the greatest accessory to the sexual abuse of young girls in America.
Also, as far as logic goes for the baby: How could anyone argue that imposing the death penalty, without due process nor trial, on the most innocent victim of the crime is in anyway the answer to a terrible situation?
I don’t understand why a woman that had been raped would need more than twenty weeks to decide to abort.
