I’ve lived in Miami and have been to Detroit several times on business. Miami is much better and Detroit is basically Zimbabwe, ie a foreign country where the locals speak Africanized English.
Well Miami is not deserted but still its like a foreign country. I lived there for 11 long years. I had many Cuban friends and they are lovely people but they have pretty much made Miami into a Cuban republic on the mainland. If you take a bunch of illegal Mexicans to Detroit and repopulate it you will just have another Mexico City in the US. It doesn’t make sense.
