Another 1st amendment lesson, taught by our state run schools.
Being gay is what someone does, it isn’t who they are.
The shirts were disruptive and kids were getting “rowdy”.
School officials acted appropriately.
And there’s no reason to advertise it.
The enablers of the 2% are at it again...
So sorry that your political rally in the middle school was disrupted.
Probably classmates who wore "Gay is not O.K." shirts.
They should have written it backwards... (in cursive :)
A 7th grader is 12 or 13 years old. Any sexual activity with or by him is illegal. The first question he should be asked is, “Who is sexually abusing you?”
Ask Anna Thompson what she thinks about sodomy and spreading AIDS.
“Another 1st amendment lesson, taught by our state run schools.”
School children do not have the right to wear offensive tee shirts and start chanting “Gay is OK” in the lunchroom.
You go to school to learn, not make statements.
“chanting Gay OK after some students were removed “
At no point does the article say that this all started when the jack booted thugs came to break up a protest in the lunchroom. The protest seems to have started due to the 1st amendment infringement. And no “Gay OK” is not offensive, it is pretty much the definition of protected political speech.
Would they be OK with shirts that say “Straight is Great” because if you let one you have to let the other. The Federal courts have already held that schools have a right to reject any clothing that could disrupt school activities and the school has broad latitude in determining what is disruptive. Heck, they are even allowed to ban the American flag on clothing.
Call in the National Guard. We’re even losing control at the middle schools now.
I imagine the leftists aren’t terribly happy when the tables are turned against them.
A school is a tax supported institution. If they want to make a political statement, they can do it on their own dime. Would a Muslim calling for beheadings on his tee shirt be protected speech?
If a seventh grader is getting anal sex from another male, something’s wrong...
Oh wait, he just SAYS he wants anal sex from another male.
