As a practicing Catholic, it breaks my heart….I wish there were some better ways to vet these men when they are at the seminary…...
So they charge a corporation. No individuals are held accountable. No jail time, just fines.
No problem. The parishioners will pay the fines.
I seem to remember when this crisis first broke that one of the things the Catholic hierarchy was going to do was to try and rectify this abomination at the seminary level.
Look, it's no secret that Catholic seminaries are (were?) a breeding ground for homosexual perverts so whether any actions were taken remains a moot point. One of the sad things is that now the Boy Scouts are about to make the selfsame mistake-homosexual men can not be put in charge of young boys or teens-as shown by the Catholic Church pedophile disaster.
