How did an Orthodox Jewish family attend three horse races on three Shabbats without violating Halakhah???
They would have to have housing within walking distance to the track. If they walked to the track and didn't use anything electrical, nor carried anything, they could attend a race and not violate Shabbos. It might not be in the exact spirit of Shabbos, but it would be technically correct.
