This didn’t happen in a city; it happened in the middle of the “fetid swamp”, so there was no collateral damage to People Who Matter. There are no nearby black populations to which the rioting could spread.

A friend used to work security at rap concerts here; he described the shortsightedness of people who would trash cars in one section of the lot, while in another lot another bunch was trashing the cars of the first bunch. I didn’t even know they still had those concerts there, because a welfare population would have to make travel arrangements.
