I just passed through McKinney a year ago or so. Thought how nice it looked. I can’t believe this is happening there.

East of Highway 75, according to the lawsuit, McKinney is 49 percent white; to its west, McKinney is 86 percent white. The plaintiffs alleged that the city and its housing authority were “willing to negotiate for and provide low-income housing units in east McKinney, but not west McKinney, which amounts to illegal racial steering.”
All three of the city’s public pools lie to the east of Highway 75. Craig Ranch, where the pool party took place, lies well to its west.

I suspect like all Texas cities and towns that Hispanics made up 40 percent of east McKinney and blacks at maybe 10 percent.

It sounds to me like a nice (black) family had a party and invited some idiot THUGS who jumped a fence and went into a neighbors pool.
The neighbor called the cops and things escalated when officer dick-wad arrived.
There may have been a fight before the police arrived, but as soon as he did he was running back and forth like an idiot and escalating the situation. One of the other officers who were walking calmly should have called him and said STAY BEHIND US AND SHUT YOUR STUPID MOUTH AND WATCH AND LEARN.

Figured out where I stopped for gas. It was the RaceTrac gas station at Virginia and North Central Expressway.
