Yep Rubio’s boat reminded me of Dexter’s boat.

And there is no comparison between Kerry’s yacht and Rubio’s boat.

I can’t believe the absurdity of the liberal media sometimes. They are shocked, just shocked, that Rubio has a pleasure boat. And there is all this speculation of how much it cost, how wealthy is Rubio, etc. Yet the likes of John Kerry get a pass on their yachts.

The media showed an incredible lack of curiosity about Kerry parking his ship in Rhode Island to avoid Mass. Taxes.

Can you can imagine the reaction if a Republican docked his ship.somewhere other than his home to get a tax break????

Saw this puppy on vacay in the BVI. Long Jawn was windsurfing at noon, had a crew of 4.

Little preppies all and he was such a complete dweeb, this was 2003 when he was running against Bush. Stayed away from the dining area when he was there.

Dunno why this 4 yo article is getting posted again, but....

While there’s certainly a tax advantage to mooring a yacht in some places rather than others, when you’re holding your yacht out for charter it just makes sense to berth it in a favourable chartering area.

Rhode Island has Mass beat hands down in that regard - Newport, Narragansett Bay, immediate access to LI Sound, Montauk, the Vineyard, Block Island, the Elizabeths. Granted, the later 3 are actually part of Mass, but getting there from Boston requires rounding the Cape. Just no point in it, and there aren’t any really good charter berthing areas in S Mass.

If you want to go up to Maine, charter around Boston, or better yet, charter in Maine itself.

There are far better reasons to berth in RI than just taxes.
