He went in hot, I will agree. However, his conduct while performing his duties wasn’t anything to be ashamed of, imo.

I agree with your as do others. It’s unfortunate that this 10-year police veteran was forced to resign after he and his family received death threats. Here is a very good analysis of the situation that occurred:

More local law enforcement will be inclined to just sit back and do the minimum as a result of this. The McKinney Police Chief is a coward that caved to the pressure from the black racist agendanistas IMHO.

I agree. I only saw the video once but it looked like he was being pretty gentle with the girl, purposely not treating her like the cops on “Cops” do.

He grabbed his gun when a couple of guys surprised him. I think the other cops saw what was going on better than he did and told him to hold off.

Hm. I watched the various videos, and if you ask me, this cop was being set up, had this situation going on, he was the only one there.

He was clearly overwhelmed with what was going on. It would have taken a remarkable individual to have restored order there.

I would like to see any number of people who criticize this policeman do better than him in that situation, without simply surrendering the situation to those people creating the disturbance.

Sure. That cop could have done just that (just stand back and give them their “space”) and our country seems to be full of people who would do just that, including some on FR.

Just like they have done in Baltimore. Sit back and only respond to calls and wait for the residents to whine how the police are no ware to be found and crime is way up.
