Until last week, government data on climate change indicated that the Earth has warmed over the last century, but that the warming slowed dramatically and even stopped at points over the last 17 years.
But a paper released May 28 by researchers at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has readjusted the data in a way that makes the reduction in warming disappear, indicating a steady increase in temperature instead.

The fed's "readjust" economic data, and they "readjust" climate data. So why bother releasing any data at all? Just tell us what we must believe, and be done with it.
As a side note, it's refreshing to see real experts like the Georgia Tech professor in the article challenge the government's findings. I wonder how long it will be before she is punished for her honesty.

Political scientists allow their politics to drive their science. It makes them worthless as scientists.

If “climate scientists” are upset about the contaminated data, it’s only because they realize that their own complicity in the fraud will become apparent.

Ha! A picture (or two) is often worth a thousand words. I suspect that the professor who challenged the government data will be dropped from grant committees, etc. just like that unfortunate man in the picture.

Both of them are government workers.......................... LOL Yes, Norton worked for the Sewer Authority and Ralph worked for the Transportation Authority.
I would point out though that Norton and Ralph were by magnitudes smarter than the average bureaucrat.

.
The steady 81 year decline in temperatures is not going to go away, no matter what they adjust.
Here we are in June, and having winter weather in California. It must be the warming, right?
