We are already seeing the fruits of our labor as our own state and other cities nationwide begin exploring policies to increase their local minimum wage, said L.A. City Council President Herb Wesson.Just think about how much whining that same person will make over future budgets when employee costs go through the roof.

So the unemployment rate in California is 0.8% higher than the national average, they have an emergency drought situation and they decide to artificially increase the cost of labor. I guess that makes sense if you’re a Californian.
