"Let's just wait until Jan 20, 2017 and see what Pres. Cruz or Walker has to say.

I don't trust hussein soetoro as far as I can spit.
"

Ted's position, as stated by himself, is in the following video.

Ted Cruz takes Q on Fast Track at TPP at WRKO Town Hall Southern NH University 5-30-2015
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqT-uYV4P5g

They're politicians. I don't trust what any of them say. Walker has a record of cutting government spending. I'll trust a record as evidence on that one issue. But he probably also favors Obamatrade.

Obamatrade, true to its name, will give Obama discretion to make international trade decisions without congressional approval. It's a way for bipartisan members of Congress to avoid blame for the decisions by their bipartisan political associate, Obama. But there's much more. And for anyone who doesn't know more about Obamatrade, this site appears to explain it.

Congress Has To Pass It To Find Out What's In It

The Economy
Obamatrade Gives Foreign Companies Unfair Advantage Over American Businesses
http://obamatrade.com/the-economy/
Obamatrade would empower foreign companies to use foreign tribunals to enforce special privileges only available to them. Obamatrade would exempt foreign companies from EPA and other onerous regulations that American firms would still be forced to comply with. Under Obamatrade, foreign companies could actually go to an international tribunal and sue American taxpayers for cash awards to compensate them for costs associated with government regulations – something American-owned companies would not be able to do.

White House confirms immigration is in Obamatrade

A White House news conference on April 28 with President Obama and Japanese Prime Minster Shinzo Abe confirms the TransPacific Partnership will impact our immigration laws. PM Abe described the TPP as “a new economic sphere in which people goods and money will flow freely.”

That is why TPA is essential. It puts Congress – not the administration – in charge of trade negotiation objectives. It sets clear transparency requirements and makes agreements available for public review. And it shows our trading partners that America can be trusted....

That pathetic nonsene was addressed in a thread yesterday.

These TPP negotiations have been going on for six years. To claim TPA - if passed now - would put Congress in charge after six years of negotiations, with negotiations almost complete, is one of the biggest possible lies at this stage.

And all the blather being thrown around in support of TPP is the same used to advocate NAFTA and other trade agreements. Nothing new. It will open markets all over, increase exports and create a bizillion American jobs, etc., etc..

Actually, since NAFTA passed, our trade balance with Mexico went from a small surplus to an annual trade deficit of $60 billion, and thousands of factories and millions of jobs have left the US since all these trade agreements of the past 30 or more years.

Oh so that's why the bill itself is a closely guarded secret. Now it all makes sense.

Quotes by Thomas Jefferson

A government bid enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have.

When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as europe.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

No free men shall ever be debarred the use of arms.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

I moved to Menomonie, MI in 2005. In 2006 Emerson electronics moved the entire division to Mexico. the city lost a lot of people, Jobs were lost on a massive scale. I was doing my 3000 hours for MSW in Counseling and there was a massive increase in personal crisis - financial, marital and suicides attempts. NAFTA took a lot from Michigan, Chrysler builds cars in Mexico. Volkswagen builds cars in Mexico too. (The original Vw beetle is still built in Mexico).

Congress will not be in charge it will Obama and his cronys

Similar stories all over the US, but that doesn’t stop those pushing these so-called free trade agreements from telling the same old lies: open new markets for American products, increase exports and create good paying American jobs.

These trade agreements are the reason the American middle class is dwindling and there are fewer and fewer decent paying jobs those for who don’t earn a marketable college degree.

Most all the apparel and textile plants left the US even before NAFTA, and NAFTA and China got whatever remained.

But food stamps rolls are growing, as well as Medicaid, welfare, bogus disability and all those government poverty programs that now cost a trillion annually. That’s where all those “savings” from free trade are showing up.

Needless to say, we deserve a full explanation of why any so called “representative” is for this travesty....and it’s a travesty if for no other reason than it’s secret.

They are destroying our republic.

Have the unions been bribed to not raise hell over TPP? I’ve heard rumblings but where are the street demonstrations like they whip up for their other causes.

Our so called leaders can’t be trusted. Which Republican has come out against this?

I vote to start trails against members of Congress that vote against the Constitution and sell out WE THE PEOPLE. Our life’s, liberty and freedom are being sold to the highest bidder by our own Senators and Rep. IT’S CALLED TREASON, high crimes against the people.

A Top Secret agreement that makes agreements transparent?

What kind of fools do these crooks take us for?
