From the article: (Eagle Forum quote)

These are legitimate issues that should be addressed in the actual text of TPA with enforceable provisions, not currently included in TPA. Instead, Chairman Ryan is promising that their concerns will be addressed in a future customs bill — the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act. The customs bill is completely separate from TPA, and even if these concerns are addressed, it will be conferenced with the Senate where conservatives are unlikely to win. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that President Obama will sign the customs bill, even if it passes the House and the Senate. These promises will only serve to garner TPA enough votes; they will not affect the final agreement. Pew Research Center recently released a poll stating 75 percent of the Republican-leaning public want Republicans in Congress to challenge Obama more often. Instead, Republican Leadership is intent on running roughshod over conservative principles to achieve President Obama’s top priority in the name of free trade.”

In other words, they have the language of immigration in the TPA bill, but promise they'll change it down the road in another bill.

Not very likely.

Paul Ryan is morphing into a bigger snake-in-the-grass than Eric Cantor was...and that’s saying something.

Remember when we were told how staunchly “conservative” he was?

People like Paul Ryan are the reason the republicans are going to go the way of the whigs.

...In an interview with American Public Media’s Marketplace, President Obama says fast-tracking the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade bill would help him advance his climate change agenda, which he said is “one of my highest priorities.”

During the interview with host Kai Ryssdal of Marketplace, Obama said, “If we want to solve something like climate change, which is one of my highest priorities, then I’ve got to be able to get into places like Malaysia, and say to them, this is in your interest.”

In the wake of revelations that technically a vote for Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) would be a vote to grant the executive branch massively-expanded immigration powers,

woooow. Who could have seen that coming?

This comes as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)96% re-emerges as a central figure pushing Obamatrade.

Cruz is just another GOPe masquerading as a conservative. Anyone supporting this bill should not be disqualified as a candidate.

It truly wonders me that Cruz would throw it all away for Chancellor Hussein and for Iran. Before the two votes. one to give Iran Empire status in the ME and to give Hussein the power of a German Chanccellor circa 1935, he was THE solid Constitutional candidate, the one who would not bend to the gopes or the Chancellor. Then he simply folded up on the floor of the Senate- folded up and spindled himself. Twice. It’s like my knees went wobbly when he did that, turned out just to be a damnable gope.

Back when Ryan was still fooling Republicans, Glenn Beck said to him on the radio: “Please, don’t be a scumbag.” Beck didn’t get his wish.

It is well past time for the people who “represent us” to explain to us what is in this bill. . . . and to do so BEFORE they vote on it.

This trade agreement is a disaster and rightfully so. More “sign here now read it later” they just don’t get it. Any candidate who is for it is OUT in my books, may as well just be Hilary if this SH*T is what the GOP is gong to shove down our throats too. The lack of foresight is horrible here…they must have known that after Obamacare we wouldn’t react well to another secret “read later” kind of thing. Can anyone tell me if ANY of the GOP candidates is against this thing???

Cruz is dead to me. Anyone backing this traitorous bill will not get my vote for anything ever again. I will work my tail off for their opponents.

Keep in mind free trade means open borders. Most jobs are now service jobs, not production. Free trade in a service job means importing the waiter, taxi driver, teacher, cook etc the boss wants from anywhere in the world. I.E. not you. This is what TTIP is about.

It’s over for Americans.
