Good heavens, the promoters of pot have wasted no time in coming up with new ways to push it.

For as much as potheads love to compare pot and alcohol (trying to “prove” by association that pot use has minimal deleterious effects compare to alcohol), can anyone imagine the outcry that would ensue if someone offered a minimum 3 night alcohol binge camp?

I do not want to see the number of mentally disabled/mentally ill people that are going to become apparent in a few years, with these pushes to legalize pot and increase its use. Those people are going to be drains on society. Maybe society will collectively decide that it’s tired of supporting those who won’t (or make themselves unable to) pull their own weight.

It’s not a “binge” camp. It’s a “pot-friendly” camp and advertised as such because it may be the first in the country.

“Alcohol-friendly” camps do the same exact thing. If you google “alcohol friendly”, camps are the first thing in the suggestion box.

The same thing with beaches, resorts, parties, etc. One of the first things people ask is “can we drink?”.

Intoxication is an integral part of humanity and people will ALWAYS find ways to do so. Even going as far as fermenting their own feces and inhaling the gas.

You will NEVER stop people from growing and using a simple plant so we may as well regulate it through stores like we do with alcohol and tobacco. Especially considering pot is by-far the safest and least addictive substance.

In places where pot is heavily cracked down and expensive, people are doing REAL permanent damage to themselves with LEGAL research chemicals. WE will NEVER stop all people from using drugs. All we can do is encourage people to use safer ones by making those legal

Mentally disabled people can afford a $395/night resort? Any real "push" to "increase its use" will have a MUCH lower price point.

There have been alcohol binge camps for a long time. Look up “tasting tour”. They’re everywhere, and they can be pretty awesome, though you won’t remember much.

These are probably life-long potheads that pull their own weight to the tune of $400 a night vacations.
