Theres an interesting piece up over at The Washington Post on How Jeb Bushs campaign ran off course before it even began. Meanwhile, Chris Bedford argues that Team Bush is in a lot more trouble than theyre letting on.
These are fascinating examples of process reporting, but I cant help but think it creates the wrong impression which is that Jeb Bush might be in better shape had he run a better campaign.
The truth is that campaigns do matter. And, for some candidates, the advisers and staffers they hire and the strategy and messaging they employ (all the things that we want to believe we can control) really can make or break a candidacy.
But thats not the case with Jeb.

Agree.
Jeb would do well in the Democratic Primary. I don’t get why he can’t just make the jump.
And theres the fact that hes perhaps the only Republican in America who cant run against The Clinton Dynasty.
DUH, "And, aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"
He should switch parties and as Rush said run on the ticket with Hillary, that’s where he belongs
When Jeb Bush stuck his toe in the GOP Presidential waters he almost lost his entire foot to frostbite.
