I called our congresswoman this morning (a Texas Republican with a Conservative Review grade of F) to register strong opposition to the TPA bill. All lines were busy for several minutes before I got through so I’m hoping that’s a good sign. Anyway all we can is fight to the bitter end on this.
I called and had everyone I know call. If we melt the phone lines, there’s a chance.
I have senator McWeasal for one of my senators, he doesn’t even respond to my emails anymore and he is bought and paid for by the Chamber of Crony Fascism. The other is Rand “wet your finger and stick it in the wind” Paul so you never know what you will get with him.
My Congress creature is Hal “I wanna be the next Robert the Porkster Byrd” Rogers, again on the so-called leadership team and bought and paid for by the fascist Chamber. Essentially they ignore their constituents until election season.
Sent mine an email yesterday...response today was general blah, blah, blah...support for free trade! Basically, a nice looking crap-burger!
