The man who wrote this article is wrong.

Cruz has explained his positions in all important areas including, in detail, the TPA trade bill and the secret TPP bill. Regarding the TPP secret bill, he has read it and it will be public for 60 days before they vote on it. That info. is at the approximate 50 minute point in his speech in Mass.

I urge everyone to listen to his very long speech and answering audience questions. You will know exactly where he stands on every important issue. Here is the link:

Wait until you listen to HIM before you dump him based on trashy reporting.

Sadly, I don’t think people care to listen to him. No wonder some of us can never find anyone good enough to vote for. We put candidates on the chopping block for the slightest perceived offense, whether true or not.

As I wrote, Senator Cruz is very, very good on so many issues. Why would we suddenly distrust him on this one? Wouldn’t it be wise to at least give it a closer look? Maybe he’s right.

In other words, he really believes he is right. Okay. I really believe he is wrong. The critics make more sense to me. And “Cruz has read the bill” is not good enough. He supported it BEFORE he read it.

I did not dump on Cruz....I just trust what Sessions is telling me more than anyone else in D.C. at this point in time. Until he proves me wrong I’ll take Sessions at his word.

Cruz is a very good lawyer. But then who can believe what a lawyer tells you?

The fact that he wants to give more power to Obama and to hawk a secret trade agreement tells me he is leaving the conservative reservation.

When you add this to his support for increasing H1B visas by 500% then you start to question whether or not he is bought and paid for by his wife's company or whether he is just selling out in general.

I was Cruz's biggest promoter on Free Republic until recently.

He reads this forum. We need to lead him back to reality rather than encouraging his drift to the left.

He's going nowhere because he's leaving the people who supported him the most.

Top Secret trade agreements are not conducive to a Free Republic.

The few sentences on TPP begin at 56:00

Ted Cruz says he wants a free trade agreement and the time is now because when Democrats are in power it will not happen.

He says the current secrecy is "stupid" and creates suspicion.

He says he's read it but not studied it as it's 6-700 pages.

He says it will have to be public for sixty days before final approval.

The secret nature caused me to call Steve King today to caution against a loss of sovereignty and a threat to the Constitution, particularly from a secret agreement pushed by this president who is an enemy of the Constitution.

I trust the judgment of Steve King--and of Ted Cruz.

I was for Goldwater as a YAF member. William F. Buckley, as Rush clarifies, said nominate the most conservative viable candidate--viable, not electable, as that cannot be known.

Ronald Reagan was happy to accept an 80% favorable policy.

Having listened to Cruz and having previously
(stupidly) supported him, Cruz is now a curse
on the Constitution and America.

If Cruz votes for this, he will be aligned
with Obama by 110%.
