I understand passing TPA eliminates the 60 vote and goes by a simple majority vote for passing the TPP. A much lower threshold to meet and a certain guarantee of passage.
We have also heard this same mantra about passage of TPA is only procedure and TPP will be defeated in the final vote.
Did we not hear the same bull hockey during the Obamacare mess? “Don’t worry, this is just a procedure vote and we will kill it on the next more important vote?”
Anyone who is really serious about opposition to legislation votes against anything that forwards that legislation.
