I have stated before that any young black person living in one of these wasted neighborhoods needs to find a way to get out. Here is a simple solution. Since the article states that most cities have trouble hiring blacks due to arrest records, just simply finish school, don’t commit any crimes, keep your nose clean and go to the academy. Get a police job with high pay and benefits. Get married. Have children. Move to the suburbs. Sounds like a plan.
If you do stupid things and get arrested, this plan won’t work.
I’ve been told that they will do almost anything to get more blacks in the academy. Many other minorities are filling that void.
