When this hoax is revealed, no consequences for his lies will be charged to him because he is a homo, the GerBiLs will hush it up in the press, and the narrative that “it could have happened” will be trumpeted non-stop.
If this actually happened, then the person who did this is most likely a repressed homosexual himself.

The lurid scandal makes all the front pages in big, bold above-the-fold 72 pt font. Then, weeks later, the fact that it was all a made-up hoax is in a tiny notice, buried in the lower left corner of page D-17. That’s the way these things always work.

It’s almost certainly self inflicted. The best bet would be to look at what was carved into his arm. There are a limited number of ways a person could do that to themselves, and none of them are the same as another person could do.

Importantly, if the police do determine this was self inflicted, they should ask a judge to require him to have a two week mental health evaluation, on the grounds of attempted suicide.
To a point I agree, however at the same time, there are far more of us now who on review of these breaking stories will scrutinize them before making a judgement either way. We can now pick up, almost immediately when “it smells funny” like this one does.
